In late summer 2004, it was a bus ride over 5 days to Bornholm situated in the Baltic Sea, which stood on the menu. Along with Sonia, Grethe and Arne we visited the sunny island of Bornholm.
It was a fantastic trip in really good weather.
We were staying at a hotel in Allinge right down to the harbor with the old fishermen's cottages and views over the Baltic Sea to Denmark last point - Christianø.
There was some cursor around the island by bus. Among other things, we were up to Hammershus and the boat trip across the Baltic sea.
Since none of the others having little interest in visiting Svaneke, I did even this excursion, while the other was smoked-herring-turn. A visit to Svaneke implies of course a visit to the local microbrewery, Svaneke Brewery. In addition, matched with lunch time here.
The bus driver, I drove with Allinge to Svaneke arranged for the cheapest ticket. He told me to buy a discount card than a normal ticket.
Bornholm
I eftersommeren 2004 var det en bustur over 5 dage til Bornholm der stod på menuen. Sammen med Sonja, Grethe og Arne besøgte vi solskinsøen Bornholm.
Det blev en helt fantastisk udflugt i virkelig godt vejr.
Vi var indlogeret på et hotel i Allinge helt ned til havnen med de gamle fiskerhytter og udsigt udover Østersøen over mod Danmarks yderste punkt - Christianø.
Der var en del køren rundt på øen i bus. Bl.a. skulle vi op til Hammershus og på sejltur over til Christiansø.
Da ingen af de andre have den store interesse i at besøge Svaneke, foretog jeg selv denne udflugt, mens de andre var på røget-sild-tur. Et besøg i Svaneke indebærer selvfølgelig et besøg på det lokale microbryggeri, Svaneke Bryghus. I øvrigt passede tiden med frokost her.
Hatten af for buschaufføren der kørte mig fra Allinge til Svaneke. Han halverede udgiften ved at anbefale mig et klippekort fremfor en normal billet.
